Day After Dead is a band from Midland/Odessa, Texas. All members being around the age of 40 years old, they consider themselves the Dads of the local music scene. Hence the name Day After Dead (D.A.D).
For them, this is more than just a name or an image. They feel it’s their responsibility to nurture and encourage the era of new bands and musicians in West Texas. Kids in the area struggle to find constructive things to do in their spare time. Being performing musicians themselves from a young age, in an area and time that didn’t exactly welcome metal musicians, they want to help kids feel comfortable and proud of being different.

Former bands include Broken Jaw Philosophy (Cecil), Tokyo Tanlines (Timmy), BLacK WaTER MASOCHIST (Isaiah and Chris), and of course Euphoric (Chad).
They currently have 8 songs recorded, but only two released so far. A music video for their single “Dames of Horror” is also in the works. No one is more suprised than they are at how much the local community, especially the younger crowd, has embraced not only their sound, but their somewhat comical stage presence. Their motto is, “If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right”. So far, they’ve lived up to that goal.
